Have you started your weight loss journey? Looking to increase lean muscle mass?
Let us help you stay on track!

The Springdale Fitness Center will provide Body Mass Index (BMI), Body Fat %, and Weight screening to help you see your progress and keep you accountable.

Screening take 5 minutes and will be conducted in the Fitness Center. During that time a Fitness Team Member will log your BMI, BF%, and Weight. All information is secured and confidential. Contact the Springdale Community Center to schedule your appointment, 513-346-3910.

Teen Fit

Date/Time:  Sunday, September 18, 2022  1:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Teen Fit is an award winning class that will cover the basics of cardio, strength training, and nutrition. All teens are welcome to learn the proper way to workout and eat in this hands-on class.  Please call the Springdale Community Center at 513-346-3910 to register.

Fitness Challenge

Date/Time: January 2023   

A Better You! 6-week Fitness Challenge: Let's create better habits, conquer our goals, and build a better you! Join us as we kick off our 6-week "A Better You!" fitness challenge. During this time Fitness Center Members will earn points for competing workouts, answering nutritional questions, and improving their habits! Fitness Center Members can sign up in the Fitness Center with a staff member today!

Workout in the Park

Date/Time: June 2022   9:30a.m. - 10:30a.m.

Join us for a full body workout held in the park that focuses on functional movements geared to get you the strenght, definition, and tone you want for the summer. Class is free and open to the community! Every Saturday during the month of June from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Free and open to the community. Located at SCC Amphitheater or Aux Gym if raining.

Springdale Santa 5k:

Get your Santa suits and running shoes ready to help support a great cause! Join us on Saturday, December 3 as we race into the holiday season for the Springdale Santa 5k. All proceeds from the race will benefit Springdale Offering Support (S.O.S.) After the race grab a cup of cocoa, some cookies, and get your picture taking with Santa!

When: Saturday, December 3  2022 at 9:00 AM

Distance: 5k or 1 Mile Run/Walk

Rate: $15

Balanced for Life

When: Fridays in April & May  2023

We combine balance and endurance exercises, along with posture and stretching work for those who wish to increase balance and reduce falls.

Ballroom Dancing

When: Thursday's   3:00 - 4:30 p.m.

Rate: $5.00

This beginner class will introduce dancers to Detroit style ballroom dancing. We recommend that women wear small heels with felt pad coverings and men wear leather soled shoes.

Boot Camp

When: Monday 5:30 - 6:15 p.m.

Join us for a high energy, fat burning workout that utilizes military moves with body weight that's sure to help build stamina, promote weight lose, and build muscle! Boot Camp is designed to be effective and get you into shape quickly while having fun!

Chicago Steppin'

Come join this Urban dance class to learn the fundamentals of Chicago Style Steppin. Here you will find community unity in a fun and positive atmosphere. Steppin is a lifestyle that originated in Chicago and continues to evolve around the world.

H.I.I.T Fit

When: Tuesday, Thursday 5:55 – 6:55pm; Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

This action packed high intensity interval training (H.I.I.T.) class combines the benefits of kickboxing and strength training that's sure to challenge your body and give you the results you need.

Jazzercise

When: Monday, Wednesday 5:55 - 6:55 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 9:30-10:30 a.m.

A high intensity mix of dance-based cardio and strength training for a calorie-crushing total body workout. We rock it out, slim it down and tone it up with fresh pulse-pounding music and body-blasting moves. This high intensity dance workout targets the three major muscle groups – upper body, abs and legs – so you’ll feel it where you need it. Incinerate up to 800 calories in this 60-minute class. You’ll get toned target zones, increased energy and a mood boost as you leave it all on the studio floor.

L.I.F.E. - Low Impact (Fun)ctional Exercises

When: Tuesdays & Thursdays   11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Difficulty: Beginner

Rate: FREE!

This class focuses on improving your strength, flexibility and balance. Using chair exercises, resistant bands and simple stretches, this class will help you with everyday tasks such as lifting a bag of groceries, standing up from a chair or doing laundry. This class promotes stronger bones, better balance and healthier bodies.

Line Dance

When: Thursday 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Difficulty: Beginner – Intermediate

Rate: $5/per class

A brand new line dance with an all new instructor. Open to anyone who wants to learn to dance or broaden your existing dance horizons. Line dancing is a great way to have fun and exercise all at the same time. Singles and couples are welcome. Casual dress, soft soled shoes, and a willingness to have fun required! Mommy and Me in Motion

When: Friday 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Bring your stroller or child carrier and get ready to MOVE in this boot camp style class with your kids. Resistance bands and yoga mats are recommended, but come prepared to exercise, model fitness to your kids, and make mom friends!

SLIMNASTICS

When: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:15 - 10:15 a.m.

Slimnastics is an exercise class for women that combines the best parts of dancing and aerobics into one activity. This class is perfect for people who benefit from the motivation that group activities provide. It’s a good way to lower body fat and burn calories. But Slimnastics workout doesn’t just help to burn fat, it also strengthen and tones muscles to give your body a strong and lean appearance.

STRENGTH 45

TAI CHI FOR HEALTH

A gentle, yet powerful form of exercise that combines fluid movements with breathing, and stretching techniques. Improves muscle tone, balance, flexibility, and reduces stress. Can reduce the pain and stiffness associated with arthritis. For all ages and fitness levels.

ZUMBA
