Fitness Team Member
Springdale Parks and Recreation Dept.  
 

General: Under the direction of the Fitness Center Manager, the Fitness Team Member will be responsible for new member orientations, guidance and motivation to Fitness Center patrons, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and perform other duties as required. 

Qualifications: College level courses in a health/fitness related field and/or a current personal training certification from a nationally recognized organization in the health/fitness industry are preferred. Applicant will need to commit to a flexible 10-20 hour/week schedule of morning, evening, and/or weekend shifts. Compensation: $9 - $12 per hour. For more information or to apply, call 346-3910.

Summer Lifeguards and Swim Instructors
Springdale Parks and Recreation Dept.
 

American Red Cross Lifeguarding, Standard First Aid and CPR certifications or equivalents required. Certification in American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor preferred. Pay range $8.50 - $12.50 DOQ. EOE.

PART TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT POSITION 

The City of Springdale is currently accepting applications for a part time customer service assistant in the Parks and Recreation Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for front office duties including handling cash, taking memberships, activity registrations, facility reservations, greeting the public and assisting guests and members. Customer service and computer skills are required. 

The position’s general schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10am – 3pm. However, the candidate must have the ability to work afternoons, evenings and weekends as well. Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Worker  

Seasonal staff is needed to cut grass, trim and help maintain the facilities. Daytime hours required Monday through Friday with occasional additional weekend and evening hours. Applicant must be able to work outside in all types of weather. You must be 16 years old or older to apply for these positions. Apply at the Municipal Building, 11700 Springfield Pike. Part Time Maintenance Worker for Public Works Department 

The Part Time Public Works Maintenance Worker performs a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks, landscaping, grass cutting, street repairs, leaf collection, chipper service, and snow removal. The successful candidate will have experience in construction, landscaping, turf maintenance, and facilities maintenance; and the ability and willingness to perform heavy physical labor and work outdoors (occasionally under adverse weather conditions) for extended periods. The candidate must possess or be able to obtain a CDL. The candidate must have an ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call outs. Starting rate of pay for the position is $13.00/hr. Part-time Firefighter/Paramedics

The City Of Springdale Fire Department is currently seeking part-time Firefighter/Paramedic candidates. Candidates must successfully complete a physical ability test, background check and a medical physical. These positions are all 24 hour shifts, working every 6th day. All candidates must possess:

 • Current Ohio Firefighter II Certification 
 • Current Ohio Paramedic Certification 
 • Valid Ohio Driver’s License 

The City Of Springdale Fire Department protects 5 square miles serving 10,500 residents, in addition to our visitors. We have a high call volume operating out of a single station. Hourly rate of pay is $18.14/hour. Applications can be obtained and submitted at the fire station, 12147 Lawnview Avenue, Springdale, OH 45246 weekdays from 8:00am until 4:00pm.
