Charter & Code of Ordinances

The City of Springdale has a Charter form of government. It is managed by a City Administrator who is appointed by the Mayor and who serves as the City's Chief Administrative Officer.

The City's electoral process is non-partisan. Under the Charter, the Mayor is Springdale's senior elected official, and serves as the directly elected Chief Executive of the City.  Springdale's City Council is comprised of seven members.  Three of the members of Council are elected at large, and four are elected from districts. The Council selects a President of Council from its own ranks to preside at meetings.

The City's Charter and Code of Ordinances are made available through the services of American Legal Publishing Company.  To read more about the City's Charter or search the City Code, please click the button below.
