As the City continues to make an effort to increase pedestrian and bicycle connections within the community, City staff applied for grant dollars with Hamilton County to install a sidewalk that would connect planned improvements along Northalnd Boulevard, the new Row on Merchant housing development, and Princeton Pike. A 6' wide sidewalk will be installed on the southside of the road. Trees that will be removed will be replaced with new trees as part of the imporvements.
The City has been awarded $304,800 of the estimated $424,214 improvement project.
Work is expected to begin in Spring of 2024 and is expected to be complete by the end of the summer.
